Toua

Toua is a Hmong boy, born near Luang Prabang, Laos. The Hmong are a widely dispersed people with several distinct groups inlcuding the Black, White, Flower Hmongs and others. They are known for their textile art, particularly the use of appliqué and batik, and characteristically dye some of their garments a deep, nearly black indigo.
