Lilja

Lilja belongs to the Sámi people, who inhabit the Arctic area of Sápmi, at the extreme north of Finland, Norway, Sweeden and the Kola peninsula in Russia. Their lifestyle is traditionally nomadic, dictated by the seasonal cycle of the reindeer herds on which they depend. The distinctive traditional clothing is called gákti and indicates the wearer's place of origin and marital status.
